Meet Scott
Your Honest and Fair Builder-Contractor-Remodeler
Hi! I'm Scott Robertson. Name a home project, I can do it. I've been working on homes since I was 10 years old. I grew up holding the flashlight for my dad, and got serious about carpentry at Waltham Vocational High School. I learned the science behind building at Wentworth Institute of Technology, in Boston. I worked on the Big Dig and was a site supervisor for the construction of Terminal E at Boston Logan Airport. Since then, I've focused on residential building and remodeling.

A Carpenter's Story: Words I Live By
An experienced carpenter was ready to retire. He shared with his employer plans to leave the house-building business to live a more leisurely life with his wife and family. The employer was sorry to see his good worker go, and asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor.

The carpenter said yes, but over time it was easy to see that his heart was not in it. His workmanship was shoddy and his materials were poor quality. It was an unfortunate way to end a dedicated career.

When the carpenter finished his work, his employer came to inspect the house. Then he handed him the front-door key and said, ”This is your house, my gift to you!“ The carpenter was shocked! What a shame! If he had only known he was building his own house, he would have done it all so differently.

I learned this story from my high school shop teacher, and have had it hanging in my office during my many years of building. This is my commitment to you: I will build your house as if it were my own house.
